Welcome.
The Institute for Professional Certification* & Counseling (IPCC) was created in the winter of 1999. It was established to offer addiction treatment education to clinicians in the State of New Jersey. Soon after, counseling and treatment services for domestic violence, opiate addiction, substance abuse, anger management, DUI/DWI counseling and assessments for those arrested, convicted and placed on probation were added.
IPCC remains dedicated to using professional therapeutic tools to serve the sick and suffering. There is also a focus on stirring the creative power within each human being to heal themselves and the broken relationships they have with others. Special attention is placed on issues of abuse, family conflict, grief and loss, trauma and those struggling with issues of faith and despair, those searching for truth and authenticity, and those with questions about existence, death, human emotion and the nature of human relationships.
*Supervision is available for qualified candidates seeking NJ State Licensing as either a Professional Counselor (LPC) or an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC, CADC, CDA). Supervision for those seeking an LPC in Pennsylvania is also available. IPCC has been able to assist a limited number of students in obtaining internship hours.
